Monday 12:45-1:30 Pre-Ballet ages 2 1/2 - 3
(We can take 2.5 year olds as long as they will be turning 3 by the end of 2008).

The class is a structured program designed for the early development of technical ballet and movement. It precisely meets the needs and limitations of pre-schoolers by providing a carefully paced sequence of exercises to develop physical conditioning with poise and grace. Since children naturally respond to music and movement, the activities are presented through music. In the program, children learn self-discipline, listening skills, coordination skills, left and right discrimination, patterns in movement, and pre-ballet. Top dance studios across the nation offer Creative Movement "Pre-Ballet" to the young student to enhance self-confidence and enthusiasm.
DRESS CODE - Girls will need a pink leotard, pink tights and pink ballet slippers. Long hair should be pulled away from the face. Please dress your child at home if they have a morning class. BE SURE TO LABEL ALL DANCE ATTIRE.
Monday 1:30-2:15 Tap-Ballet ages 3-4 (Pre-K)
Room 335 or 331B, depending on teacher
A perfect combination class. The class is divided with 20 minutes of tap and 25 minutes of ballet. Since ballet is the basis for all dance technique, the combination of both work hand in hand. The technical training is taught through ballet; which in turn helps teach the proper shifting of weight and patterns in movement for tap.

Classes are held September-May. A recital is held at the church in May for all students. Costumes are provided by Creative Movement & Dance.
If your child attends NMP, he/she may come directly from Lunch Bunch. Children may not return to Lunch Bunch following an activity. Please contact Leslie Rose by email or call (404) 351-1107 for lunch bunch info.
